Making your vacation rental stand out among the crowds makes a huge difference in generating bookings! We have some simple tips to point you in the right direction and on your way to being a listing master. 1. HEADLINE: SHORT, SWEET, AND INFORMATIVE Creating a descriptive and to the point headline will engage travelers. The failure to include enough detail can steer people away. Choose a title that paints a picture. For example, "Lavish, 4BR getaway among the palms." For anyone seeking a retreat from the hustle and bustle, a title with imagery will lure them in. You also want those traveling with larger groups(or smaller) to know how many people your property accommodates. What not to do: "Large house near the beach, perfect for a getaway, and great amenities. Centrally located, etc." This is more for the description of your property. Short, sweet, and to the point is ideal. 2. THE MORE PHOTOS, THE BETTER
Quality photos always encourage people to view your property! Invest in professional quality pictures. Having minimal photos doesn't give the viewer enough details to choose your property. Make sure to include pictures of all the bedrooms, living room, bathrooms, front yard, back yard, and any special amenities or features. It is also a good idea to show recent pictures of the local scenery and things to do. 3. BE SURE AMENITIES ARE UPDATED Often times postings are out of date. Make sure your listing is very detailed with all of your amenities and why your property is better than the competitor. If you have a large Roman tub or a Jacuzzi, LIST IT. If you have a blender, Wi-Fi, blow dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee maker, grill, fireplace, washer, dryer, etc. make sure to include this. The less items travelers need to pack the better for them.
