 Covid Shmovid, With COVID-19 and social distancing, odds are you won't be able to get the whole family together to celebrate the awesomeness of Dad. Whether he be your Dad, your Grandfather or husband, he deserves a day to remember. We have come up with some fun father- son, father-daughter activities to do that won't be impacted by the restrictions of Coronavirus and can still be enjoyed by being safe and socially distancing from others. Check out some of these fun ideas... 1. The "Forged in Fire Experience" If your Dad is a fan of the popular History Channel knife-making competition "Forged in Fire" and loves to play with metal and hammers, this is the perfect activity for him. Not only is this for Dad, groups of 4 - 6 guys and girls over 15 years old are welcome, so why not make it a family event! Masks are required, stations sanitized and social distancing parameters are in place. Instructed by the "Forged in Fire" contestant, Steve Katz, African Bladesmith and knife-maker, you will learn the basics in the art of Bladesmithing and leave with your own hand-forged knife. Booking is essential.  2. Hit The Greens If your Dad is a that sporty type of guy he probably wouldn't resist the invitation to play a round of golf with a few close family members. Make his wish come true with tee time at his favorite golf course! Go the extra mile by organizing his gear ahead of time and arranging his transportation to and from the course. 3. The Water Adventure Your Dad may be the outdoor adventure type guy who loves gliding through the waves on jet-ski's or taking a slow Kayak ride down the 7.6 miles Loxahatchee River. There are so many water sport activities to choose from in Florida. Snorkel, paddle, fish, surft, swim or picnic in the beautiful Peanut Island just off of Riviera Beach Marina for a 3-hour or full day adventure. Rent a Yamaha Jet-ski per hour in Miami or take a day trip on a luxury yacht around the South Florida coastline. Whatever you choose, it will be a memorable fulfilled day!  4. Take It To The Road Or The Beach! There is nothing more freeing than coasting down the free road with the wind in your hair and sunshine on your face. But what better way to experience that freeing feeling is taking the journey with your loved ones this Father's Day! This is the perfect outdoor activity that ensures social distancing and gives you the freedom go anywhere, find a place to set up a picnic enjoy time in the outdoors! From Jupiter to Miami there are plenty of bike rental spots close to the shoreline.  5. Travel Back In Time Your Dad may not be the sports outdoor type but perhaps a "like to take a stroll through the gardens" type of dad. For those seeking historic places and stories about pioneers and adventurers may pique Dad’s interest. think about going on a historic tour of famous landmarks and museums like Jupiter Lighthouse & Museum, Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens the Boca Express Train Station.  Whatever your Pop's taste in adventure there is something for everyone. No need to stay indoors and let Covid-19 ruin the one day of the year that we show that special man in our lives just how much we love and appreciate them.
